Topic: Movie Night
We use movie night as our date night. We split a meal and then hold hands while watching. Afterwards, we have a bowl of ice cream

My grandparents owned a drive-in movie theatre. We love attending and working the concessions booth
-Jenna
On our movie nights, my parents would open the couch hide-a-bed and my brother and I got to stretch out there while watching great movies like Swiss Family Robinson
-Scott
Our family would set up the living room for movie night, laying out a pink and blue quilt, a soda in one hand and a slice of pizza in the other
-Meghan
Movies were big events when I was a child, complete with intermission, programs, and souvenirs. Classic movies, that when the film ended, you were left singing the songs, smiling, happy
-Connie
When our children were young, we watched movies together at home most Friday nights, complete with popcorn and movie candy. Our daughter always wanted to turn off all the lights and make the room “like a movie thee-tee-er”
-Leslie
When the second Pirate's movie came out we dressed in pirate themed clothes and went as a big group. When the second twilight movie came out we had a party at the house with decorations and snacks. We had stand ups of Jacob and Edward. We wore Twilight shirts and buttons as we ate out and went to the movie
-Cindy
One of my favorite memories was my mom put all of us kids into her station wagon to go to the drive-in to watch Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. It was so much fun with all of us kids packed in with blankets and popcorn
-Marie Anne
My husband and I started during our Covid lockdown watching tv series together. After everything opened back up, we still make it a weekly routine on Saturdays to order pizza and binge watch movies. It's the highlight of my week
-Barbara
We do family movie night with a candy "bar". We buy bags of everyone's favorites (skittles, m&ms, raisinettes, etc.) and set them up in bowls on the kitchen counter. Then everyone gets their own bowl to fill with treats from the “bar”. A tasty time for all
-Charlie
With grandkids we pop popcorn, turn off the lights, and watch a movie. Each child has to agree to a certain movie. It has to be a joint decision
-Kattie
